Last night Joe and I celebrated out 4th wedding anniversary. I haven’t had sushi in a really long time so we decided to go to Sono Sushi for dinner. We went to Sono last year for our 3rd Anniversary so we thought we’d go again this year. The only difference is this year we brought Noah with us and last year we didn’t even know I was pregnant. (I was probably only a few weeks along)
We started out our dinner with the Pork Gyoza dumplings appetizer. They were really delicious and a nice warm contrast to our fresh sushi that was to come. We ordered 4 rolls to share; 2 Vegetable Tempura Rolls, 1 Piano Roll and 1 Nippon Spider Roll. They were all very delicious and I would get them again. I think the Nippon Spider might be my new favorite. We even ordered dessert, we got the flour less Chocolate Torte. It was amazing. Sometimes chocolate tortes can be too rich but this one had the perfect balance between sweet and savory.
We had a lovely evening, even with our third wheel. It’s always nice to be able to go on dates with my husband. We talked about life, laughed and just enjoy each others company.

No one wants to be known as the owner of a stinky house. But if you have people living in your house there are most likely unpleasant smells that frequent your home. I don’t care for scented sprays and I get nervous about lighting candles with little ones around. Scentsy decorative warmers use wax melted…
North Carolina Summers are hot and humid. You will find us either comfortably hiding inside the house with AC blasting or soaking in the community pool. However, with 2 little ones taking long afternoon naps that leaves us stuck at home with few outdoor play options, until we got the Backyard Ocean Deluxe Square Party…
Many women don’t understand the importance of a properly fitted bra. I have large breast (there I said it.) I wear anything from a size 34DDDD to a 36G, so as you can imagine I can’t typically find my size in a department store. I also don’t like to spend a lot of money on…
Just this month Jude became the proud owner of 4 new molars so I figured it was time to start brushing those tiny little teeth. And just in time we received the Baby Orajel Tooth and Gum Cleanser to review. Jude loves mimicking mommy and daddy as we brush our teeth. He gets a little…
We use the internet a lot. You don’t really think about how much you use it until you don’t have it. I am reminded of how addicted I am to the internet every time we visit Joe’s grandmother in South Carolina. She doesn’t have internet and my little bloggy brain about explodes every time we…
I didn’t read a lot of the classic children’s books when I was growing up, so I missed reading, “A Wrinkle In Time” by Madeleine L’Engle. But I’ve heard a lot of good things about the story and it is on my “to-read with the kids” list. All that to say I had no expectations…
