Last night Joe and I celebrated out 4th wedding anniversary. I haven’t had sushi in a really long time so we decided to go to Sono Sushi for dinner. We went to Sono last year for our 3rd Anniversary so we thought we’d go again this year. The only difference is this year we brought Noah with us and last year we didn’t even know I was pregnant. (I was probably only a few weeks along)
We started out our dinner with the Pork Gyoza dumplings appetizer. They were really delicious and a nice warm contrast to our fresh sushi that was to come. We ordered 4 rolls to share; 2 Vegetable Tempura Rolls, 1 Piano Roll and 1 Nippon Spider Roll. They were all very delicious and I would get them again. I think the Nippon Spider might be my new favorite. We even ordered dessert, we got the flour less Chocolate Torte. It was amazing. Sometimes chocolate tortes can be too rich but this one had the perfect balance between sweet and savory.
We had a lovely evening, even with our third wheel. It’s always nice to be able to go on dates with my husband. We talked about life, laughed and just enjoy each others company.

I don’t think there is such a thing as having too many wet bags. For a long time we somehow survived with only one. But over time we have collected a few and I’ve learned what makes a good wet bag. 1. I prefer an easy to zip closed top. (drawstrings are unreliable and leave the…
One of my favorite exercise classes is cycling. I haven’t been to a class in awhile and since I’m due to have baby 4 any day now it may be a few more weeks until I can attend a class but I’m looking forward to trying out the new cycle classes offered at Flywheel. I’ve…
It’s boot weather which means lots of knee high sock for me. I’ve always loved knee high socks, not sure why but maybe it’s because they always have such fun styles. I received 4 pairs of knee high socks from Chrissy’s Knee High Socks and they all feature fun patterns. I love stripes so obviously…

I try to be as earth-friendly as possible in my kitchen. I use reusable containers whenever possible but sometimes the only thing that works is a Ziploc bag. I used to feel like I was wasting bags and being unkind to the earth until I learned that I can actually recycle my used bags. (they…
