Last night Joe and I celebrated out 4th wedding anniversary. I haven’t had sushi in a really long time so we decided to go to Sono Sushi for dinner. We went to Sono last year for our 3rd Anniversary so we thought we’d go again this year. The only difference is this year we brought Noah with us and last year we didn’t even know I was pregnant. (I was probably only a few weeks along)
We started out our dinner with the Pork Gyoza dumplings appetizer. They were really delicious and a nice warm contrast to our fresh sushi that was to come. We ordered 4 rolls to share; 2 Vegetable Tempura Rolls, 1 Piano Roll and 1 Nippon Spider Roll. They were all very delicious and I would get them again. I think the Nippon Spider might be my new favorite. We even ordered dessert, we got the flour less Chocolate Torte. It was amazing. Sometimes chocolate tortes can be too rich but this one had the perfect balance between sweet and savory.
We had a lovely evening, even with our third wheel. It’s always nice to be able to go on dates with my husband. We talked about life, laughed and just enjoy each others company.

Jude is at the age where he gets bored rather quickly, especially while riding in the car. We don’t have a DVD player in our car so he is limited to the toys we can take on the car. Most of the time his toys end up on the floor and I end up digging…
Easter baskets filled with candy mean sugar-loaded kids bouncing off the walls, so let’s replace some of that candy with books. Billy Bunny and the Butterflies Billy Bunny and the Butterflies by Maurice Pledger is a beautifully illustrated flap book about a little bunny searching for butterflies. Mamabargains.com is really fun deal site that offers products for moms and kids. They run really great sales for a very limited time (like only a few hours) and you never know what is going to be on sale next. I’ve been stalking their site and Facebook page to see what they have to offer….
Do you think that guys and girls and be “just friends”? We see it a lot on TV shows, like The Big Bang Theory, where a girl and guy are “just friends” but then they end up kissing and the whole relationship changes. I think that you can have friendships with people of the opposite…
Joe is totally a t-shirt and jeans guy. But for work he has to dress up a bit so his weekend wear has becoming a little dated. He’s definetly got that thin rocker style going for him. I love a guy in some appropriately fitting skinny jeans, like Joe’s new dENiZEN skinny jeans. dENiZEN jeans…
