North Carolina has some amazing talent and creative people. I’d like to introduce to you Erin from Dinner Time Chimes.
Where in NC are you located? Clinton, NC (which is about an hour SE of Raleigh)
How long have you lived or been based in NC? I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, and moved to Clinton a few years ago after getting married.
Tell readers more about your business: Primarily we create windchimes from silverplated silverware. We also create a few other things from the silverware (keychains, fork easels, bookmarks, etc.). Another eco-friendly garden item that we create are bird houses from boots and cooking pots. The newest addition to our business are the Dinner Time Baby burp cloths and blankets.
What is your favorite local place to eat? La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Clinton has the best salsa!
Who is your favorite local attraction? My favorite local attraction are the open roads. I enjoy taking mini road trips and exploring new areas of Sampson County. There’s always wildlife to spot in the open fields.
What is your favorite local shop or retailer? I enjoy checking out the local thrift stores every chance that I get, especially The Sampson Crisis Center in downtown Clinton.
What is your favorite NC vacation spot? We enjoy camping at White Oak Shores in Stella, NC.
What advice would you give someone visiting your town? It is the typical small southern town where you’ll be welcomed with open arms and glass of sweet tea.

What do you get for the toddler who has everything? A Dora the Explorer Bucket filled with cookies! But seriously, I don’t know many toddler/preschool aged children that wouldn’t love a big bucket full of yummy treats, much less one with Dora on the side. My whole family enjoyed eating from the bucket of goodness….

Joe, however, was super excited about reviewing Kim and Scott’s Gourmet Pretzels. He’d had them before and thinks they are just awesome. The…
