North Carolina has some amazing talent and creative people. I’d like to introduce to you Erin from Dinner Time Chimes.
Where in NC are you located? Clinton, NC (which is about an hour SE of Raleigh)
How long have you lived or been based in NC? I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, and moved to Clinton a few years ago after getting married.
Tell readers more about your business: Primarily we create windchimes from silverplated silverware. We also create a few other things from the silverware (keychains, fork easels, bookmarks, etc.). Another eco-friendly garden item that we create are bird houses from boots and cooking pots. The newest addition to our business are the Dinner Time Baby burp cloths and blankets.
What is your favorite local place to eat? La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Clinton has the best salsa!
Who is your favorite local attraction? My favorite local attraction are the open roads. I enjoy taking mini road trips and exploring new areas of Sampson County. There’s always wildlife to spot in the open fields.
What is your favorite local shop or retailer? I enjoy checking out the local thrift stores every chance that I get, especially The Sampson Crisis Center in downtown Clinton.
What is your favorite NC vacation spot? We enjoy camping at White Oak Shores in Stella, NC.
What advice would you give someone visiting your town? It is the typical small southern town where you’ll be welcomed with open arms and glass of sweet tea.

I have never built a snowman in all of my 33 years on this earth. We’ve never really had enough snow to build a proper snowman until now. We all worked together to build this snowman. Our boys haven’t seen Frozen yet so they don’t know about Olaf but they are obsessed with Frosty. This…
Friday morning I joined a few local bloggers for the Restaurant.com DishMob at The Loop in Cary.
