Today’s Blogger of the Week is Tabitha from $aving Toward a Better Life

How old is your blog or long have you been blogging? I started blogging on a personal/family about 2 years ago. $aving Toward a Better Life is almost a year old.
What made you choose the name of your blog? Because it’s my goal!
Why do you blog and what do you love about blogging? I love being able to connect with people and help people. There are so many ways to save money. I want people to know that you CAN cut your monthly spending by hundreds of dollars!
What are a few of your favorite posts on your blog?

Are you married? If so, how long? 5 years last February. I married my high school sweetheart ☺
Do you have children? If so, how many? 1 son, Gavin, 19 months old
What is your favorite movie? We don’t watch many movies. But I never miss my favorite TV shows, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Bones and House!
Who is your favorite actor? I think Kate Walsh rocks and Patrick Dempsey is dreamy ☺
What is your favorite band or musician? Ummm…see above that I have a 19 month old. Our music of choice at the moment is The Wiggles. LOL! 
What is your favorite food? Mexican!
What is your favorite candy? Hersey’s with Almonds candy bar
What else should readers know about you? I’m very savings-savvy. I don’t buy anything unless it on sale, clearanced and/or has a coupon. I was raised by a mom who dressed us in department store clothes for Wal-Mart prices and I learned from her. She always clipped her coupons every Sunday. I learned that from her too. But couponing has taken on a new dimension for me this past year and I wish she was still here so I could share my savings with her. I know she would be proud! She died 2 years ago from cancer.
