Today’s Featured blogger is Katie from Life with the Dietrich’s.

How old is your blog or long have you been blogging?
I started the blog three years ago, but have been blogging regularly since about December of 2009


What made you choose the name of your blog?
I think my husband actually came up with it. We decided to make a blog one day and that’s the name that was picked


Why do you blog and what do you love about blogging?
I love the idea of keeping an online “journal” of my life, so that is why I started. I didn’t even know about “following” people until about my second year of blogging. Man am I glad I figured that out! I love that I have met some fantastic people on here. A lot of them I would love to meet in real life, but I’m pretty sure that would never happen, everyone lives too far away 🙁

Are you married? If so, how long?
I sure am!! I have been married since July 19th 2003 so that would make it 6 years and 9 months! I LOVE being married!


Do you have children? If so, how many?
I do not…I have a dog. He’s kind of like a child to me 🙂


What is your favorite movie?
Edward Scissorhands and Drop Dead Fred…They have been my favorite for YEARS!


Who is your favorite actor?
Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Paul Walker


What is your favorite band or musician?
I love Nickleback, but I don’t listen to a lot of music


What is your favorite food?
Mexican food…I love spicy food


What is your favorite candy?
Anything sour. I love me some sour candy


What else should readers know about you?
