When Jude isn’t feeling well he hates to be prodded and poked, especially with in-ear thermometers. So I was ecstatic to learn about a Thermometer that was used externally. The Exergen TemporalScanner measures temperature with a stroke across the forehead. I will admit that I did have a brief moment where I thought the device didn’t work but then I read the instructions and learned you have to take the cap off! Duh! So my advice is to read the instructions first so you ensure an accurate reading.

Advanced, patented technology measures temperatures with a gentle stroke across the forehead. The TemporalScanner has patented software, providing arterial heat balance.
