Grocery Shopping Alone
This morning my boys went to see Toy Story 3D and I went to the grocery store… alone!
A friend won 4 free tickets to see Toy Story & Toy Story 2 in 3D and she couldn’t use them so she passed them on to us. Joe, Jude and friends went to see the free movie and I took advantage of being sans baby to do a little grocery shopping. First, I went to Whole Foods where they had alot of people passing out samples and selling local handmade goods. I even got to use a hand basket instead of a big ole cart in the crowded store. Then I went to Harris Teeter and got some great deals. I didn’t use many coupons but I still spent the same amount as usual. (HT Natural London Broils were BOGO)
Joe reported that Jude had a great time at the movies. He didn’t want to wear the 3D glasses but he did want to hold them. He sat through the entire film which is pretty impressive for an almost 15mo old.
Now the boys are home. Jude is sleeping. Joe is playing Mario Kart on the Wii. I’m blogging.
We don’t have much planned for the day other than my nephew’s 10th birthday party this evening at Golden Corral(his request). I love weekends like this. Nothing on the calendar. No major projects needing to be done around the house. Just relaxing with my family.
