The Grand Budapest Hotel – DVD Review
I’ve been a Wes Anderson fan for many years so I was very excited about his newest release, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Not unlike other Wes Anderson films, The Grand Budapest Hotel is a beautifully artistic film with a compelling story that fully engages the audience from start to finish.
What I love about this film is how Anderson doesn’t manipulate your emotions. There are happy, sad and humorous moments throughout the film but they are presented as facts and not in an overly emotional way. It’s almost like reading a book, the information is presented to you and you decided how to emotionally connect to the content.
The Grand Budapest Hotel has a very engaging story and stays true to Wes Anderson’s style. There is the typical use of miniatures, intentional color palates, and appearances of some of Anderson’s favorite actors.
Anderson always provides a fun and captivating film experience and The Grand Budapest Hotel does not disappoint.

I received the featured Blu-Ray in exchange for my honest opinion. My opinions are not influenced by the company.
