Summer is almost over but before the kids go back to school add a little more adventure and fun to your summer. Located in Greensboro, North Carolina Wet N’ Wild Emerald Pointe is the largest water park in the state.
With over 36 rides and attractions, there’s something for everyone…from mild to wild…from tots to seniors. It’s family friendly and the young kids (and mom and dad, too) will have a great time in Splash Island and Happy Harbor, our two large children’s areas. When you’re ready to kick back and relax after enjoying the over 3 million gallons of water fun, Wet‘n Wild Emerald Pointe offers an abundance of lounge chairs and shaded areas.
When I was younger we would often visit Emerald Pointe during the summer break. I always loved the Lazee River and Raging Rapids. I wasn’t much of a thrill seeker. But if you like fast and crazy rides you’ll probably love Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror or DareDevil Drop. Emerald Pointe has something for everyone, even the little kids.

Traveling with a toddler can be a challenge. Jude is an on-the-go little boy so sometimes it’s difficult to keep up with him or keep him from running off. He’s getting much better about staying with us but a few months ago it was stressful to take him anywhere for fear he’d get out of…
I’ve always been baffled by swaddling. With Jude I never could get it right. It always seemed to loose or he seemed to be displeased with my wrapping techniques. He most certainly could have used some swaddling, I think it would have helped him transition from the womb. The Miracle Blanket is great because it…
The other day I showed Jude where he will be going to Kindergarten. He loved preschool and misses doing “projects” every day. Over the summer I’ve been trying to work with him so he retains some of the information he learned in preschool and will be ready for what lies ahead at Kindergarten. He loves…
Starting any day with a dance party is a great way to start the day, but it’s especially awesome if everyone wakes up happy and dry. Mornings are pretty crazy around here. Mama and Dada are trying to get everyone ready for the day. There are lunches to be packed, breakfast to be eaten and…
As you may know we’ve had several challenges with breastfeeding Noah. I pumped 6-10 times a day for over a month to supplement his feeding until he recently began to nurse. Because I need to build a large supply of pumped milk I also needed a way to keep everything organized. The Mother’s Milk Mate…
