We are a co-sleeping family. Well, at least when the babies are really small and nursing often in the middle of the night. I have found that having the baby super close makes it so much easier for those middle of the night feedings. One thing I never had with Jude but wished I owned was nursing pajamas. I never gave much thought to needing them until I was nursing frequently in the middle of the night.
I really love the Bella Materna Anytime Nursing Gown because it is both a maternity and nursing night gown. The fact that I can use it while pregnant and then after makes it totally worth the splurge. The fabric is smooth, cool and stretchy, similar to a bathing suit material. (A Lycra/Nylon blend) I received the Anytime Nursing Gown Full Cup option which is specifically designed for larger breasts! Hooray. I love that if offers a bit of support, to help keep nursing pads in place, without having to wear a nursing bra to bed.
One of the bonuses of nursing is having larger breasts and the Anytime Nursing Gown most certainly displays that asset. Luckily, I will only be wearing it to bed but it does make you feel pretty sexy which is always a plus for an exhausted nursing machine mom with a newborn.

Jude loves to take things apart and put things together. We love building with blogs, assembling puzzles and filling buckets with rocks. So I knew he would love KNEX. We received three great Sesame Street K’NEX building sets Swim Time Ernie, Cookie Monster’s Basketball and Kick It! Elmo. Jude loves pulling the pieces apart and…
We love potato chips, but sometimes chips aren’t the most healthy snack. I’m so happy we discovered Snikiddy and were given the opportunity to try their new Cheddar Baked Fries. They taste great and satisfy that craving for a salty, crunch snack. The Cheddar Baked fries are light and flavorful. I was a little afraid…

My kids are really into technology. It sucks them in and stimulates their little brains. I love technology, it’s an important part of our culture. Kids learn so much just with the touch of a screen. But it’s also important for kids to be active and engage in physical play. So every day we make…
I had a very difficult time nursing Jude for the first few months. But I was determined to overcome the challenges that often come with a first time breastfeeding mom. Toward the end of our breastfeeding experience both Jude and I were pros at nursing anywhere discreetly. However, those first few months I needed an…
Candy, Candy, Candy. That’s what I think of when someone says “trick-or-treat”. I hate passing out so much candy at Halloween but I also don’t want to be known as the house that passes out raisins (although my kids would love that!). Well, now I can omit candy and still be the cool house by…
