I try to be as earth-friendly as possible in my kitchen. I use reusable containers whenever possible but sometimes the only thing that works is a Ziploc bag. I used to feel like I was wasting bags and being unkind to the earth until I learned that I can actually recycle my used bags. (they must be cleaned and dried)
When you use Ziploc Evolve bags you are being dually earth-friendly. Ziploc Evolve bags are ultra-light bags are made with 25 percent less plastic and manufactured using wind power.
Did you know that you can recycle your clean and dry ZiplocBrand Sandwich, Storage and Freezer Bags at existing in-store bins at approximately 18,000 participating retail locations that accept plastic shopping bags for recycling?
For more information on Ziploc and how you can get involved visit Ziploc/Sustainability.
Ziploc is also partnering with Recyclebank to divert millions of pounds of waste from our nations landfills by supporting Recyclebank’s expansion in to new communities across the country.
