I cook almost every night of the week. I really do enjoy cooking but sometimes I get stuck in a rut and sometimes I just don’t have the motivation to make healthy meals for my family. Homemade Gourmet helps you prepare delicious and healthy meals for your family without all of the work.
I really love biscuits but never make them because of the amount of time needed to prepare them. Homemade Gourmet offers delicious Three Cheese Garlic Biscuits. They were amazing! My boys loved them and so did I. (maybe I did eat 3 of them in one sitting.) The biscuits were super easy to make and only took 15 minutes to bake. (That’s my kind of cooking.)
Some of the other delicious Homemade Gourmet we were able to sample were the Simply Simmer Brisket, World Vision Cheesecake and the Skillet Fried Rice. Everything is so simple yet so delicious. I like Homemade Gourmet’s motto “It can’t go to market unless it tastes like a home cooked meal my grandmother would have served.”

I never thought I’d say this but since becoming a mom my fashion requirements have changed somewhat. I find it difficult to put my needs first and typically gravitate toward practical rather than fashionable. Hence all my cute handbags and purse are packed away in the closet longing to be used while I’ve resolved to…
It’s boot weather which means lots of knee high sock for me. I’ve always loved knee high socks, not sure why but maybe it’s because they always have such fun styles. I received 4 pairs of knee high socks from Chrissy’s Knee High Socks and they all feature fun patterns. I love stripes so obviously…

Tweetsie Railroad is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Ghost Train Halloween Festival. On Friday and Saturday nights starting September 26 through November 1, Tweetsie is transformed into a frighteningly fun world. Ghost Train passengers will travel back in time to the scene of one of the worst (fictional) accidents in railroading history. Old-timers swear…
On Saturday we set off to visit the NC Zoo in Asheboro, which is about an hour and half drive west of Raleigh. I was super excited because it my the first time to the zoo since I was a child and of course it was the first trip the zoo for Jude. I won’t…
Meal Planning Upgrade Every week I work on meal planning for our family of 6. Joe bought me this cute chalkboard menu from Target a while back but the chalk that came with it kind of sucks. But I didn’t even realize there was another other until I heard about Chalkola. Chalkola Chalk Markers are…
