Any parent of a newborn can tell you that sleep is a rarity. It’s pretty rough for the first few weeks but eventually you adjust to the middle of the night wakings and functioning on less than optimal sleep. Not only will we be re-entering the “parents of a newborn” stage but Joe is a huge Stephen King fan so he was ecstatic to get the We Never Sleep T-shirt from Cafe Press.
And because we’re on a sleepless theme I thought the Resting My Eyes T-shirt would also be appropriate. Now people won’t bother my sure to be sleepy husband. I know that we don’t be getting a lot of sleep and coming to grips with reality is key to surviving these first few months.
These are just a few of the fun Dad T-shirts offered by Cafe Press. Cafe Press is the place to go for unique and fun gifts, especially T-shirts. They offer a huge variety of personalized gifts for just about anyone.

The other day I showed Jude where he will be going to Kindergarten. He loved preschool and misses doing “projects” every day. Over the summer I’ve been trying to work with him so he retains some of the information he learned in preschool and will be ready for what lies ahead at Kindergarten. He loves…
My boys love fruit. When the box of Lil Snappers fruit arrived I unpacked the contents and left it on the kitchen table. Soon after the boys discovered the haul of fruit they devoured 2 mandarin oranges and an apple, each! I had to move the fruit to higher ground so they wouldn’t spoil their…
Coffee. Coffee. Coffee. I hate it but my husband adores it. Everywhere we goes you can find him drinking coffee. So since he is the coffee drinker in the family I let him do the honor of reviewing the Brugo Mug. Having burned my mouth on a number of occassions in my daily hurry to…
When my oldest son was a baby we collected a few Uglydolls, despite their name they are actually very cute stuffed creatures that are fun and quirky. When I heard they were making a movie about Uglydolls I was pretty intrigued. Uglydolls is a sweet and fun movie that kids will find fun and heartwarming….
I love personalized artwork. But even more so I like promoting talented artists. And while one may think I’m a little partial to the work of Stephanie from The Vintage Canvas, I know talent when I see it. (See my brother is married to her sister… so I guess that means something.) If you have…
As a woman I’m a little more aware of style where my husband’s methodology is if it fits and is clean, wear it. So any gift giving holiday is a great time to slip a few trendier pieces into his wardrobe. When I first met Joe he primarily work khaki pants and a black shirt….
