No matter the weather. Hot or Cold. We try to get outside for at least 15 minutes a day. 

On Saturday, we were at the local park when it started to snow. It was beautiful and peaceful to be playing outside in the falling snow. When it rains, we put on our rain coats and boots. When it’s super hot we take lots of water and stay in the shade. When it’s cold we bundle up so our arms barely move. But I find it is important to our daily routine and health to go outside.

So many kids don’t go outside enough. Actually, most adults do go outside enough. The fresh air and sun is refreshing and healing. I honestly believe kids get sick more often in winter because they a cooped up inside. 

I challenge you to go outside for at least 15 minutes a day, every day this week. You’ll be glad you did.
