I have always been a big fan of Norah Jones, she has such a beautiful voice and is overflowing with talent. Now take that awesomeness and combine it with some of the greatest musicians of our time and you get an album that will completely blow your mind.
Some of particular favorite collaborations are Dear John with Ryan Adams, Virgina Moon with The Foo Fighters, Blue Bayou with M. Ward and Take Off Your Cool with OutKast. Each song contains a unique element that is identifying to each guest but still has that smooth and identifying sound of Norah Jones.
“A lot of the people on this record are people I’ve worshiped since I was a kid, and some of them are younger and more my contemporaries,” says Jones. “Even though the musicians are so varied, the vibe of the songs makes sense when we put them all together.”
…Featuring, a star-studded collection of the multi-platinum selling, multi-Grammy Award winning singer Norah Jones’s musical collaborations from the past decade. The 18 songs on the album include duets with such legends as Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton, and with 21st Century icons from OutKast to the Foo Fighters.

Joe and I try to go on a date about once a month but finding a sitter that is available when we want to go out can be a challenge. We have a handful of sitters that we use and Joe is usually the one that schedules the sitters. He usually texts or emails different…
A few months ago I introduced Jude to Veggie Tales with the release of Pistachio. At the beginning of the Pistachio DVD there is preview for Sweet Pea Beauty, which Jude found absolutely amazing. So when I was given the opportunity to review the newest release from Big Idea Pictures, VeggieTales: Sweet Pea Beauty –…
We don’t go out to eat often but when we do (usually Sunday afternoons) we want it to be something nutritious yet still tasty. That is why we often frequent Noodles & Company. They have something for everyone at a reasonable price. I really love their summer salads they have right now. I’m a sucker…
I’ll admit it, I’m not a cat person. Not by choice though. I’m allergic to cat dander, it’s a genetic curse I guess you could say. So, we’ll probably never adopt a cat. However, I do think cats are pretty rad. Earlier this month, Scotties Facial Tissues partnered with animal rescue organizations up and down…
When Joe and I got married I bought him an iPod to take on our honeymoon flight to London, I filled it with his favorite tunes. He uses it often when we travel or driving in the car but it doesn’t get used much just sitting at home. So when I was offered to review…
