George Foreman Grill Review
I’m willing to try most things that drastically reduce the cook time for dinner. Many years ago my parents had a George Foreman Grill and I really liked everything about it, except for the clean up. Somehow wiping it down with a wet cloth never seemed to get it clean enough for me. Now, several years later the George Foreman Grill has evolved and now the new EVOLVE Grill is pretty close to the perfect kitchen accessory.
The one feature of the new George Foreman Evolve Grill that I absolutely love is the removable grill plates that can be clean in the dishwasher! I have a general rule that any kitchen appliance or tool that isn’t dishwasher safe is NOT allowed in my kitchen. The new Foreman grill is a pretty decent size which is my only complaint since I have the world’s tiniest kitchen. However, it does make up for it’s large size by offering multiple uses. Since the grill plates are removable there are other plate attachment options like a baking pan, waffle plates, muffin tins and more. Basically you can cook just about anything in the George Foreman grill. My George Foreman grill came with 1 grill plate, 1 cross hatch plate, 1 baking pan, and a mini burger plate but I think most are supposed to come with 2 grill plates, 1 baking pan and 1 muffin tin. When using different plates the grill can be tilted up or down to drain grease.
I first used my George Foreman Grill to make a panini…. cheese, avocado and tomato. YUM! Then I used it to make burgers on a rainy day. Both were super quick and easy to make. I am anxious to try out the baking pan, I may try brownies. That would be so awesome!
