2nd Birthday Bash: miSwivel Feeding Chair Review + Giveaway

·

Like most new parents we created a baby registry filled with all the fancy baby gear you can possibly imagine. However, after Jude arrived and we began to use or rather not use some of our great gifts I’ve refined my must-have baby items list.

At one of our many baby showers we received a large fancy high chair which was safe and functional however after the first few months it lost it’s fancy charm. My two biggest complaints is that it was large and very difficult to clean. We live in a small townhouse and the highchair took up about half of our dining space. It was marketed that you could fold it up and put it in a closet but who really wants to break down their highchair after every meal? But honestly, I could live with the space hog if it wasn’t such a pain to clean. The padded seats were wipe-able but that was hardly going to break through the mess Jude made when he ate. Additionally, there were tons of tiny cracks and crevasses that collected random bits of food. Overall it was disgusting.

So when I was given the opportunity to try out the new First Years miSwivel Feeding Chair I knew the two big factors against which I would test this chair. I immediately knew it would win for space saving as it’s a booster type chair that attaches to any regular dining chair. But the big test came when we let Jude get his sloppy toddler hands on it. First off, the cover for the miSwivel is removable and machine washable. WIN! Secondly, the rest of the chair can be adjusted and taken apart to clean in the few cracks and seams it has.

I really do love this chair. Even though we’ve only ever used it as a booster seat I can see how the other setting would be ideal for a child of any age. Luckily, we are just getting started with our family and I plan on using the miSwivel to it’s full capacity.

About miSwivel Feeding Chair
The new miSwivel Feeding Chair from The First Years was designed to make feeding your little one easier and more comfortable – from birth to four years old. miSwivel can swivel from side to side and quickly lock into seven different positions, so you don’t need to move or re-position the entire chair. miSwivel can recline into five different positions, so you can easily feed your newborn.

miSwivel has a five-point harness for safety, and you can convert the infant feeding seat into a booster seat easily. With easy cleaning in mind, miSwivel was designed to avoid the “crumb cracks” of other feeding chairs. miSwivel comes with a sturdy tray and a convenient second insert tray, both of which are dishwasher safe.

miSwivel’s fabric is reversible, easy to clean, and safe to go in your washing machine for deeper cleaning. miSwivel also has two height adjustments. It’s an incredible feeding chair!
