Every Friday night is pizza night in the Lieb house. Ocassionally I’ll make a pizza from scratch or we’ll order one but usually we eat a frozen pizza. And since we eat one every week we make sure they taste delicious, that is why we like Freschetta pizzas.
We tried the Roasted Garlic and Spinach Flat-Bread and it was delicious. Joe really likes thin crust pizza so this was right up his alley. It was a nice light pizza which is often hard to come by. I really like that Freschetta offers a variety of pizza styles so you can still enjoy the same great flavors but in different crust thickness or cooking style. Personally, I’m not a big fan of Freschetta FlatBread pizzas, I prefer a thick crust but I know that if I’m going to eat a pizza a Flat Bread is a much healthier option. Finally, since the pizza is so thin it’s very quick to make, which is great for those times you are super hungry and can’t wait to eat.
Pizza is also a greally great way to incorporate vegetables into the diet of your children. Jude will eat just about anything on a pizza.

The past 4 weeks have been a challenge due to Abel’s breastfeeding struggles. I’ve spent a good deal of time hooked up to a breast pump to insure he is well fed. Sitting attached to a machine can be pretty boring but thankfully I have my iPad mini and Netflix Streaming. I’ve almost complete the…
As a teenager, I was a huge fan of Veggie Tales. Even though it was a show designed for kids it became a big hit with kids of all ages. The shows convey moral themes based on Christianity spliced with satirical references to pop culture and current events. So, I was extremely excited to be…
Jude loves bath time. He’s my little fish. So it’s always exciting when we get new bath toys. Boon sent us the Scrubble and Splat and we had to play with them right away. Since it was a gorgeous day I filled up a some buckets and we played outside. Within a few minutes we…
I’ve been cutting back my sugary treat intake over the past few months and with this blazing hot summer heat there is nothing I want more than a huge bowl of ice cream. When Joe and I were first married we would eat a bowl of ice cream almost every night… oh to be in…
Easter baskets filled with candy mean sugar-loaded kids bouncing off the walls, so let’s replace some of that candy with books. Billy Bunny and the Butterflies Billy Bunny and the Butterflies by Maurice Pledger is a beautifully illustrated flap book about a little bunny searching for butterflies. Noah really loves to help me identify all…
To me the only think you can do with meatballs is put them on top of spaghetti all covered with cheese! I honestly never thought someone could write a cookbook solely around cooking with Meatballs. Well, there I go assuming again because New York Times101 Things To Do With Meatballs. best-selling author Stephanie Ashcraft wrote…
