Birthday Bash: One eskimO CD Review + Giveaway
Joe is a music nerd. He owns over 2000 CD, not counting all of the MP3 downloads and LPs. Before we met I thought I had a good knowledge of all things music but then he completely blew me out of the water. However, music is one of the many things we share a love for and we can spend endless hours just sitting around listening to great music.
So when we received the self titled album from One eskimO we sat down and spent the evening exploring this great album. Because Joe is such a music buff I’ll let him give you his impression of the album.
One eskimO has an ambient and soulful sound. My son really digs the catchy tune, “Kandi” and I like the melodic song, “Simple Day”. One eskimO combines a great mix of soul, jazz and pop elements to form a truly unique sound.
About One eskimO
One eskimO is a critically-acclaimed English band fronted by singer-songwriter Kristian Leontiou and includes musicians Pete Rinaldi (guitar), Jamie Sefton (bass, horns) and Adam Falkner (drums). They currently have the #1 adult alternative song called ‘Kandi’ which you may have already heard since it’s the most played song on all adult rock radio 4 weeks and counting. Billboard Magazin
