I’ve never given much thought to flower arrangements. I like flowers but I seldom buy them because I never know what to do with them other than plop them in a vase. I was extremely intrigued by the Flower Duet tutorial DVD. Honestly, I thought it would be boring or be beyond my silk level. However, Kit and Casey are wonderful hosts and even better teachers. I learned how to buy good flowers, prep them and arrange them.
I actually bought my flowers before I watched the video (big mistake). After watching the DVD I learned that the flowers I bought were not fresh and they actually started to fall apart as I was arranging them.

(BTW I love green flowers. I had both kermit mums and spider mums at my wedding.)
