The Snowman’s Song written by Marilee Joy Mayfield and illustrated by Tracy La Rue Hohn is a wonderful book about the magic of Christmas. The story is inspiring and encourages your child to find their unique gifts. The illustrations are just beautiful and I love the way the wind is expressed with swirls. The book also comes with an Audio CD read by Marilee Joy Mayfield which is so pleasant to listen to especially when you don’t feel like reading a bedtime story after a long day. Leaping Antelope Productions will be be giving a book to an underpriviledged family for every sale of The Snowman’s Song they make this year.
About The Snowman’s Song
Witness a miracle this Christmas…
A forlorn little snowman hopes, prays and yearns with all his heart for a beautiful melodic voice so he can rejoice by singing Christmas carols just like human children do. There is little hope that he will ever have a voice, because the snow world is quiet and snowpeople communicate by sensing thoughts and feelings that travel as ice droplets in the swirling cold winter air. But when a cheery red cardinal awakens his mind and a kind young girl renews his hope, a Christmas miracle happens and the little snowman realizes his longed-for dream in a powerful, joyful, unexpected way.

While I like one-sized diapers they tend to be way too big for a newborn baby. Baby 2 is due to arrive ANY. DAY. NOW. So we have all the diapers washed and ready for him. I tend to use prefolds and covers for newborn diapers just because newborns need to be change so frequently….
Winter has officially arrived here in NC and Jude is in desperate need of some winter clothes. I love Tea Collection not only for their cute designs but for the quality and fit of their clothes. Jude is a tall skinny 2 year old and most fitted pants just fall right off of him. He…
I’m always on the search for fun new afternoon snacks for Jude and I. I want something sweet and tasty but also low on the calories. Applesauce, Yogurt and Pudding are always a big hit. Lately, I’ve been loving the new Temptations by JELL-O snack cups. They have a fluffy whipped topping and smooth, creamy…
Caillou is a loveable 4 year old boy who is always on an adventure exploring everyday life. I’m super excited that we get PBS Kids via antenna in our new house. Previously, we only watch a few episodes via Netflix Instant and Jude loved Caillou. Now that we are really getting into Caillou I knew…
A baby registry is a great way for friends and family to help welcome you new addition with gifts that suit our growing family’s needs. Creating a registry makes it easy for people to know exactly what you need and ensures that you don’t receive 10 diaper bags that you don’t need. With online shopping…
Almost weekly, I take the boys for a picnic. Unless the weather is horrible, we find a way to eat outside. When we’re out exploring we don’t want to stop just to go get lunch somewhere so packing a picnic lunch is a great way to extend our outings. I have some go-to picnic items…
