Best Educational Apps for Amazon Fire Kids

Last Christmas we bought each of our kids an Amazon Fire Kid Tablet. Each tablet comes with 1 year Amazon FreeTime Unlimited. We love our Fire tablets and FreeTime Unlimited (In another post I’ll talk about what makes FreeTime Unlimited such an awesome subscription service). Through FreeTime we’re able to download tons of apps, videos, books and more for each kid based on their age level. You can also download individual apps that aren’t included in the FreeTime Subscription.
I’ve made a collection of a few of our favorite Amazon apps. Some of them are included with FreeTime and some of them are an additional cost.
This app is a fun phonics game that help introduce letter sounds to young children. Ideal for children ages 2-5. No in app purchases. Free.
This app is a collection of several games based on popular PBS kids shows, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Wild Kratts, Super Why, Arthur, Sesame Street, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!, Odd Squad, Dinosaur Train and more. This app is ideal of children ages 2-8. Free.
Join the Kratt brothers on the creature trail, playing and learning about creature powers. This app is ideal for kids ages 4-8. $2.99
Race through Umi City with the UmiZoomi team while you conquer math challenges along the way. You can build your own car and earn trophies. This game is ideal for children ages 4-8. $4.99

The Cat in the Hat Builds That
