CRYSTAL by Cirque du Soleil – Raleigh, NC

What makes Cirque du Soleil shows so magical? Is it the music, the defying stunts, the costumes, the humor? Yes, all of these things make Cirque du Soleil CRYSTAL a such a magical experience for young and old.

The newest Cirque du Soleil show, CRYSTAL is a “breakthrough experience” that combines all of the awe-inspiring feats of a typical cirque show on ice. Forty three cast members from over 13 nationalities with backgrounds in ice skating, in-line skating, and acrobatics come together to create the magical performance of CRYSTAL.

Each unique act is woven together through the story of a young woman named CRYSTAL as she’s on a journey of self-discovery. It’s a magical journey into a beautifully surreal world. CRYSTAL is the first Cirque du Soleil show to incorporate ice skating and it fits harmoniously into what make Cirque du Soleil so magical.

There are moments in the show were you are caught up in the fluidity of the movements and others where you find yourself holding your breath. I had such a wonderful time watching the show and would advise anyone to go see Cirque du Soleil CRYSTAL.
