To say there are Star Wars fans in my house would be a huge understatement. Star Wars permeates from the walls of our home. Needless to say we are all very excited about the 3D release of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.
The movie comes out tonight, February 10th! I think Joe will be taking Jude to see it at some point this weekend. All week long we’ve been talking Star Wars. (This isn’t really an odd thing Star Wars talk is pretty typical around here.) Breakfast is when the conversation starts as Jude eats his Cheerios. See General Mills Big G cereals are helping to promote the new Star Wars 3D movie.
Participating packs of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Reese’s Puffs, Cheerios, and Cookie Crisp contain exclusive Star Wars pens. You can collect all 8 pens that feature iconic Episode I characters including: Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala, Yoda, R2D2, C3PO, Jar Jar Binks and Darth Maul. We have all but 1 pen, C3PO.
Bring the force to your breakfast with special marked boxes of Big G cereals.

Thursday is my 4th wedding anniversary. Even though it feels like I’ve been married longer than that I can vividly remember our first date. 1 week after our 1st date at the Knightdale Christmas Parade with my whole family! Over the course of about 8 years our paths crossed numerous times until one day a…
It’s true.. I went to the gym this morning with my yoga pants on inside out. I noticed in the car but didn’t want to turn around just to fix my pants. So I proceeded to the Y, check Jude into the nursery, got a locker and then flipped my pants right side out. You’d…
In the hot summer afternoons we like to do at-home activities together like arts and crafts. My boys love the idea of clouds puking rainbows. They’re elementary aged boys, they love gross stuff. So I grabbed some construction paper, scissors, markers and glue sticks and we made our own rainbow clouds. I made my rainbow…
We are in the midst of our first track-out on the year-round school calendar. After every 9 weeks of school the boys get 3 weeks off for track-out. This is our first year not only sending our kids to public school but also adhering to a year-round calendar. And I have to say that I…

Little Kids Learn is a new series of classes where preschoolers can explore art, science, music and more—the Marbles way, through PLAY! Make scientific…
