To say there are Star Wars fans in my house would be a huge understatement. Star Wars permeates from the walls of our home. Needless to say we are all very excited about the 3D release of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.
The movie comes out tonight, February 10th! I think Joe will be taking Jude to see it at some point this weekend. All week long we’ve been talking Star Wars. (This isn’t really an odd thing Star Wars talk is pretty typical around here.) Breakfast is when the conversation starts as Jude eats his Cheerios. See General Mills Big G cereals are helping to promote the new Star Wars 3D movie.
Participating packs of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Reese’s Puffs, Cheerios, and Cookie Crisp contain exclusive Star Wars pens. You can collect all 8 pens that feature iconic Episode I characters including: Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala, Yoda, R2D2, C3PO, Jar Jar Binks and Darth Maul. We have all but 1 pen, C3PO.
Bring the force to your breakfast with special marked boxes of Big G cereals.

Winter Break is a wonderful time to spend with family. All the kids are excited for Christmas and there are so many special holiday events to attend. But sometimes you just need some relaxing activities to do at home. Maybe the weather outside is frightful or you’re having a special holiday activity for the family…
“Mama, I want to go to Heaven to see Mema.” – Jude With the recent passing of my grandma Jude has been asking a lot of questions about death and heaven. He will randomly bring up that Mema is still dead and that she is in heaven. We haven’t really talked too much about death…
Probably not, because it just happen this morning. So here’s the story of how I almost flashed the entire city pool. Jude and I attended a pool party this morning. He had a great time running around and swimming with other kids. His favorite thing to do was to walk the perimeter of the pool…
I have a pretty rambunctious little boy. He likes to climb. So we took precautions and secured our tall furniture to the wall. I thought we were doing good. I thought we had a safe home. So boy was I surprised when this dresser tipped over onto Jude. (see below) Here’s what happened…. Sunday afternoon…
