No one wants to be known as the owner of a stinky house. But if you have people living in your house there are most likely unpleasant smells that frequent your home. I don’t care for scented sprays and I get nervous about lighting candles with little ones around.Scentsy decorative warmers use wax melted by the heat of a light bulb instead of a traditional wick and flame.
I got the Taro Plug In Warmer and I absolutely love it. The design is simple and pretty. I was a little sad that I couldn’t use it in my half bath as the house is kind of old and the outlets are sideways. So I just put it in our upstairs bathroom which is actually kind of nice. I picked out the Enchanted Mist Scentsy Bar much to my own surprise. I thought I would go for the clean laundry or more of a manly smell but I really like the fresh and lightromantic blend of juicy apples, enhanced and sweetened by rose petals and rich jasmine.
I really love how affordable the warmers and bars are, you can stock up on warmers and scents for different seasons. Scentsy also makes for a great Christmas gift. 😉

Last year was the 1st year I didn’t go shopping on Black Friday. I had a 4 week old baby that was recovering from a 3 day stay in the hospital for RSV. Only a few things can come between me and my holiday shopping and my kids are certainly on the top of that…
Abel is a pretty easygoing baby but some nights getting him to sleep can be tough. He doesn’t always like to be swaddled but on the nights when nothing seems to be helping him I wrap him in the Halo SwaddleSure and it’s like magic. He almost always falls asleep within a few minutes. I’m not…

Did you know that Car Seats have expiration dates? I just learned this interesting fact while reading the Graco Heart to Heart Blog. Six years is the general recommended life for a car seat. Although, each manufacturer determines the specific useful life for its seats. The reason for these limits involve possible degradation of the…
I like flowers but I love chocolate. I was sent the Sweet Greetings Gift Basket with Lindt Chocolate. This basket is huge. More chocolate and sweets than I could ever eat by myself. We invited a few friends over for a post-Christmas party last night and I instructed everyone to dig in. The Peanut Brittle…
Candy, Candy, Candy. That’s what I think of when someone says “trick-or-treat”. I hate passing out so much candy at Halloween but I also don’t want to be known as the house that passes out raisins (although my kids would love that!). Well, now I can omit candy and still be the cool house by…
