Jude is what one might call a “spirited” child. He has no fear and never looks back. I admire him for his outgoing personality but it also scares me. I’ve had those brief moments when I can’t see him playing at the park or museum and my heart skips a beat. Now I can take comfort when we are out by using Tig Tagz to ensure that if we get separated someone will know how to contact me.
I think Tig Tagz are a wonderful idea, especially if you are going to a large, crowded location like an amusement park, museum or fair. Kids are so easily distracted and it only takes a few seconds for them to dash completely out of site. I know it’s not something you like to think about as a parent but I think having that peace of mind know that in the event that you are separated from your child you will have a better chance of finding them if they are wearing a Tig Tagz.
About Tig Tagz
Stephanie Kelley is an average mom with a not-so-average chile. Her daughter is currently being kept alive with a feeding tube, but has no other issue except lack of hunger drive. She’s a happy funny, beautiful child. Unfortunately, she’s a bit more carefree than her first daughter and can be a bit of a wanderer while they’re out. So Stephanie had to figure out a way to keep her daugher safe and re-united them quickly if she was lost. So Stephanie created TigTagz, a tear-proof, sweat-proof, water-resistant, and really cute wrist bands that contain contact information for children to wear. They can be ordered blank and personalized with a “fine-tipped” permanent pen.

Candy, Candy, Candy. That’s what I think of when someone says “trick-or-treat”. I hate passing out so much candy at Halloween but I also don’t want to be known as the house that passes out raisins (although my kids would love that!). Well, now I can omit candy and still be the cool house by…

Baby 2 is due the beginning of June. The beginning of summer. Hot, hot North Carolina summers. While I like the idea of swaddling my newborn baby the thought of wrapping baby in a warm blank midsummer makes me sweat. That is why I love Aden + Anais’ muslin swaddling blankets. The fabric’s light, open…

The year was 1993, I was 13 years old and just had my first orthodontist appointment where they informed me I needed braces. I was so excited. My older brother had braces and like most younger siblings I thought everything he…
I often have trouble buying gifts for my husband because he doesn’t want or need much, and whatever he needs, he usually buys for himself. But occasionally, I can find a few gifts that may not always be the biggest or most expensive, but I know he will love them. Looking for gift ideas for…
Jude is at the age where he gets bored rather quickly, especially while riding in the car. We don’t have a DVD player in our car so he is limited to the toys we can take on the car. Most of the time his toys end up on the floor and I end up digging…
