I always knew deep down I was a rock star, but I wasn’t gifted with phenomenal musical abilities. Well, I can still be a rock star without ever having to leave my home, seriously. I think most stay at home moms would consider themselves to be rock stars.
Andrea and I at the Type A Mom Conference in Asheville, NC
I absolutely love this shirt. It’s such an ingenious idea and I think most stay at home moms (and dads) should own one. Not only am I proclaiming to everyone else how awesome I am but I’m reminding myself that the work I do for my family is extraordinary. I wore my t-shirt to the Type-A Mom Conference and received so many raving comments from other stay at home moms.

Every day Jude asks we can go “winming”. That’s swimming in toddler-ese. Luckily we are members of our local YMCA so we try to visit the indoor pool as much as possible. He’s 2 but not yet ready to be potty trained and I’m not about to buy disposable diapers just for swimming. We love…
Over the past 10 years of being married to Joe he’s helped me take notice of what I was putting in and on my body. There are so many unknown chemicals in products we use everyday and no one is really sure what the long term effect of said chemicals may be. So we tried…
Saturday, Joe and I had the pleasure of attending Band Together, an annual fund raising event for local charities. This year they raised over 350K for Step Up Ministries, an interfaith nonprofit organization that teaches low-income and homeless people to find jobs and learn life skills to lead self-sufficient lives. Five great bands performed at…
