I’m finally starting to accept that in a few days I will be 30 and that it doesn’t actually change anything. I can still be the goofy big kid I was in my 20s. However, I do feel it’s time to revamp my wardrobe and accessories. No that doesn’t mean I’ll be wearing “mom jeans” but I need a little sass and sophistication in my life. Guy and Eva can provide just the right amount of sass and style I need to turn 30.
They sent me two beautiful necklaces, the Isla and the Renae.
The Isla necklace is beautiful and sophisticaed enough that it can be worn every day. I have already received so many compliments on this simple nature-inspired necklace.
The Renae necklace offers a little bit of sass to my day. I will most certainly be wearing this on our birthday dinner date!
Both necklaces are of great quality. In other necklaces I often find poor hooks or latches that break but both necklaces from Guy and Eva are solid and I have no fear of them breaking or tarnishing.

It’s pool season! My parents just put a pool in their back yard so we hope to visit them frequently and take advantage of the cool water during this hot NC summer. Even though their back yard is well shaded I know it’s important to protect the little one’s skin against the sun. Sunscreen is…
Last October Jude saw a preview for Spookley the Square Pumpkin, unfortunately we didn’t have a DVR last year so we weren’t able to watch Spookley. I looked for it at the store but couldn’t find it (I probably didn’t look all that hard because I WAS 41 weeks pregnant and all). But that didn’t…
Right after Joe and I were married about a beautiful print from an artist on Etsy, Arian Armstrong. I bought the My Favorite Thing Print, because Joe and I always say, “you’re my favorite” to each other. We have the My Favorite Thing print hanging in our bedroom and it’s probably one of my favorite…
As my baby bump gets bigger the more uncomfortable I get too. I find that when I’m walking I lead with my belly. Gravity is no working for me. The Blanqi Bodystyler offers support for growing bellies unlike any other maternity shapewear. What I love about the Blanqi is that it offers a smoother and…
We live in a townhouse and our neighbors just recently moved out resulting in some unwelcome guests coming into our house. It’s my understanding that roaches like the glue used to keep cardboard boxes together so we’ve seen a few yucky roaches over the past few weeks. Other than killing them I wasn’t really sure…
Teaching Jude the real meaning of Christmas is very important to me. Every night before bed Jude and I read a few books, most of them a short books for toddlers. I was really excited to read “Little Star” by Anthony DeStefano because it’s such a great story but I was concerned he wouldn’t sit…
