(Actually, all 3 as I’m sure Joe is heavily involved with the bottle-feeding portion.) These early weeks are so tough especially emotionally. You are definitely doing the right thing in putting his basic need first and knowing that parenting each child is slightly different. We had to give our son a few bottles in the beginning of formula and then breastmilk due to possible jaundice and losing too much weight. It was so hard on me emotionally, but in the end we managed to breastfed for 13 months. Hang in there. Continuing to pray for you both and your success in this.

Thank Melanie. It can be discouraging when life doesn’t go as planned but I’m learning to step back an re-evaluate what is really important especially when it comes to my children.

We had many challenges but made it through. I am praying you do too. 🙂
