Thanks for the feedback. I’m looking specifically for people that have already replaced the necessary stuff (recently) so we don’t have to. Trying to invest wisely but not spend too much money!

If it’s around 75K miles, you may have to get a new timing belt ($700+ labor/parts) around 100K miles. I don’t know which year they stopped using the timing belt. Also, the ’05-’08 models had big problems with the 6-disc changer (CD easily stuck and can’t use player at all). This is not a huge deal, just annoying. The engine itself is fantastic, so as long as you budget the more costly maintenance repairs (as with any older model vehicle), it will be a great purchase. Hope this helps!
