My two boys are 19 months apart. I can relate to this. I was so glad when the younger got older and hit him over the head with the bottle! I think since they are so close that he is having a hard time. I like the positive reinforcement. I like how you are being consistent. IT will work out but it is a lot of work for sure!!!

I struggle with my emotional twelve-year-old who is SO strong and doesn’t know his own weight/strength. He plays too rough with the littler ones and gets SO upset when they get hurt all the time. And then he takes it out on himself. Maybe something like this might help him?

In reply to julie. It IS hard to catch them being good. It's so easy to overlook the good things in life and focus on the bad which is why I have to be so intentional about it. This applies to everything in life not just parenting.
