I totally loved having my mom stay with us after my baby was born to help with the baby, the cooking, and especially the cleaning. When the baby started crying at 4 AM and didn't need to be fed or changed, my mom got up with us–and often took the baby and sent us back to bed. Hope she comes to stay again when/if we have the second one!

A few of my friends always pool together and get whichever friend had a baby a gift certificate for the spa…and then we got with her too! =)
