I get the "you're intimidating" talk all the time because of my normal facial expression. Part of that comes from the fact that I rarely smile anymore due to the condition of my teeth.
I went to my first blog conference in June. Everyone was nice but I felt like a fish out of water. I hope you have a wonderful experience.
